Vivek Oberoi recounted an accident during the filming of “Road,” where he narrowly escaped death. Preparations for “Masti 4” are underway.

I had a face-to-face encounter with death!
Vivek Oberoi, Riteish Deshmukh, and Aftab Shivdasani are soon returning with their new film, “Masti 4.”
Recently, during an interview, Vivek shared a terrifying incident from his career, a time when he narrowly escaped death. This incident occurred in 2002, while he was shooting for the film “Road.”
A night drive turned deadly!
Vivek explained that he and his team were traveling from Bikaner to Jaisalmer at night. The road was beautiful, but visibility was poor in the darkness.
He asked the driver 15-20 times to slow down, but the driver refused to listen. Vivek was in the front seat, resting slightly, leaning back. Then suddenly, a terrible collision occurred!
If the seat had been upright…
A camel cart loaded with iron rods suddenly appeared in front of him. The impact was so severe that the windscreen of the vehicle shattered, sending the rods flying inside.
Vivek explains, “If my seat had been upright, the rods would have pierced my body.
I narrowly escaped.” He couldn’t even get out of the car because the rods had passed over him. This incident frightened him so much that he stopped traveling at night.
The driver created a ruckus for the second time!
Years later, he encountered another reckless driver. Once, when his driver was driving fast, Vivek stopped him and pretended to go to the bathroom.
As soon as the driver got out, he took the car keys, left them there, and drove away! Clearly, the first accident had left a deep impression on him.
Now, fans are eagerly awaiting their upcoming film Mastiii 4, which will release on November 21, 2025. This pair is back to wow the audience once again.
