Vivek explained that he was in his hotel room after filming. According to the system, if a call is missed, the message is recorded on the answering machine.

When he heard the message, it clearly contained a threat. Initially, Vivek thought it was a prank.

He thought perhaps a friend was playing a prank or someone drunk was making excuses, so he initially ignored it.

It wasn’t a joke; it turned out to be a real threat

When Vivek informed the hotel management about this, the matter immediately became serious. The voice message used certain keywords that immediately set off security alarms.

Local police arrived and began questioning Vivek. Vivek was completely bewildered and told them, “I don’t know anything. I just came here to shoot.”

Number Traced to Pakistan

The real fear was felt when the police investigated and discovered that the call had come from Pakistan.

Authorities informed Vivek that the number from which the call had come was already on a ‘flagged’ list and this was not a simple prank.

The message said, “We know where you are. We’ll take you away.” Hearing this, Vivek realized how much trouble he was in. He even had to hire a lawyer to handle the legal formalities.

The matter reached his family

The impact of this incident wasn’t limited to the US. Vivek said that when he returned to India, his fear turned into reality as threats were now being made against his family. He had to seek police protection for his family’s safety.

Well, that difficult time is over now. The good news for fans is that Vivek will soon be seen in Milap Zaveri’s film Mastiii 4, which will be released in November 2025.
