Vivek Agnihotri recently responded to Anurag Kashyap’s allegations that Kashyap called him a “liar”.
The controversy is not new but dates back to the 2007 film ‘Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal‘ when Vivek blamed Anurag’s drinking habit for the film’s production problems.

However, he also clarified that he never called Anurag a bad person – “he is a wonderful person” whose contribution to Indian cinema is immeasurable.
Vivek once again reiterated that Anurag had handed over the writing responsibility to Vikramaditya Motwane, which affected the project.

Despite their differences, Vivek appreciated Anurag’s cinematic contribution.
He said that Anurag has given a new direction to Indian cinema and his work should be respected.

Vivek Agnihotri’s upcoming project is the politically charged drama ‘The Bengal Files’, starring Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, Pallavi Joshi and Darshan Kumar in the lead roles.
On the other hand, Anurag Kashyap is prepping for ‘Nishanchi’, a high-octane action drama that will see Aashirwad Thackeray making his acting debut.
