The wait for Dhanush and Kriti Sanon fans is about to end. The release of Tere Ishq Mein is just a few days away, but the impact is already visible.

As soon as bookings opened on November 24th, ticket sales picked up. It seems Dhanush’s old magic is about to work again after Raanjhanaa.

Within just a few hours of booking opening, more than 6,500 tickets were sold, especially at major chains like PVR Inox and Cinepolis.

This figure, as of 11 p.m., shows how excited people are about this film. The highest demand was seen at PVR Inox. If this pace continues over the next three days, the film is poised for a solid start at the box office.

Will it open in double digits?

The film has been generating buzz since the trailer was released, and on top of that, A.R. Rahman’s music has done the trick.

Experts believe that with pre-sales going well, Tere Ishq Mein could earn 12 to 15 crore rupees on its first day.

These days, very few films cross the 10 crore mark on its first day, but the Dhanush and Anand L. Rai duo might just pull off this feat.

Raanjhanaa Wali Feeling Back

This film is also special because Anand L. Rai and Dhanush are coming together after a long time. People are considering it a spiritual sequel to Raanjhanaa.

The story is about a passionate love that both breaks and transforms a person. This time too, the same Banaras flavor and the same painful love will be seen, which touches the audience’s heart.

Dhanush shared an interesting anecdote during promotions. He said that Kriti Sanon and director Anand L. Rai told him that his face has the expression of a “heartbroken man.”

Dhanush laughed and took it as a compliment, saying, “I have a love-failure face.”

He also agreed that Kundan from Raanjhanaa was simple to look at but difficult to portray, and that Shankar’s role in the film is similarly profound. The real verdict will be out in theaters on November 28th.
