‘Tanvi the Great’ gets special honour in MP!

Anupam Kher’s directed film ‘Tanvi the Great‘ has been made tax free by the Madhya Pradesh government.

Although the film did not succeed in making a splash at the box office, its story and acting are being highly appreciated.

This decision has raised hopes of the film getting a new life.

Emotional meeting and thanks

Anupam Kher met Chief Minister Mohan Yadav in Bhopal and thanked him wholeheartedly for this special decision.

Sharing the video of this meeting on his Instagram, he wrote, “Respected Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav ji!

Yesterday in Bhopal, I first met you at your residence! After that it is our good fortune that you came to watch our film Tanvi the Great in the theater!”

The spirit of the film got respect

Anupam further wrote, “You not only appreciated our film but also declared it TAX FREE after seeing the spirit of our film!

This shows your special feelings towards social issues and the army. Once again, heartfelt thanks to you and your cabinet and other employees! Jai Hind!”

The film is adorned with veteran actors

Apart from Anupam Kher, many veteran actors like Jackie Shroff, Arvind Swami, Boman Irani, Pallavi Joshi, Karan Tacker, Nasir and Ian Glen are seen in ‘Tanvi the Great’.

The special thing about the film is that it also includes two Oscar-winning artists – music composer M.M. Keeravani and sound designer Resul Pookutty.

The cinematographer of the film is the talented Keiko Nakahara of Japan.

The story is touching

The story of the film revolves around a 21-year-old girl suffering from autism spectrum, who lives with her mother and grandfather.

Inspired by her late father, Indian Army officer Captain Samar Raina, she dreams of saluting the tricolour at the Siachen Glacier.

This emotional story has been touching the hearts of the audience, even though its box office performance has not been as expected.

Now that it is tax free in Madhya Pradesh, the film is expected to get a new audience, and its message will reach more people.
