No Drama at Sonakshi Sinha’s Wedding, Says Pooja

Pooja Ruparel, who played Chutki in DDLJ, has clarified the rumors surrounding Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s wedding.

Many rumors spread on social media regarding Sonakshi Sinha‘s wedding – some claimed her father, Shatrughan Sinha, was upset, while others alleged a fight had occurred with her brothers.

But now, Sonakshi’s cousin and the famous ‘Chutki’ from DDLJ, Pooja Ruparel, has completely refuted all these claims.

In an interview, she said that there was no tension, fight, or drama whatsoever at the wedding. Both families were happy, and everyone supported Sonakshi.

“Sonakshi is Her Father’s Darling,”

Pooja said that it’s wrong even to think that Shatrughan Sinha was unhappy with his daughter’s wedding. She emphasized, “Shatrughan uncle can never go against Sonakshi’s decision.

She is the apple of his eye. He might scold his sons, but never Sonakshi. She is very special to him.” Basically, whatever the media said was just baseless speculation.

Relationship with Brothers Intact

Some people were also saying that Sonakshi’s brothers, Luv and Kush, were unhappy with the wedding. On this, Pooja said that it’s a completely personal matter, but the family’s love for each other has never diminished.

She said that Sonakshi didn’t make this decision hastily – she had known Zaheer for many years, and it was a well-thought-out decision by both of them.

Aunt Poonam Gave Her the First Break

During the interview, Pooja also shared a sweet story about how she got her first film, DDLJ. Her aunt, Poonam Sinha, loved her very much.

Once, Pooja’s dance video was seen by Rakesh Roshan’s wife, Pinky Roshan, at her aunt’s house, and then they signed her for a film!
