Sidharth Malhotra gave fans a sneak peek from the set of his upcoming project, VVAN – Force of the Forest, on Instagram Stories, showing him lost in deep thought in the forest.

His caption, “The gaze that wanders through the forest,” further enhanced the mysterious atmosphere of this mythological horror.

The photo sparked a discussion on social media, with fans speculating about the twists and turns of this folk thriller.

Tamannaah Bhatia also stars in the lead role alongside Sidharth in VVAN – Force of the Forest.

Directed by Arunabh Kumar and Deepak Mishra, the production team includes Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, and Arunabh Kumar.

This joint production venture between Balaji Motion Pictures and TVF will revolve around Indian folklore, where the dense forest is not just a location but a key character in the story.

Last year, Sidharth announced the project on Instagram, writing, “Excited to be part of this folk thriller, with a powerhouse team, directed by Arunabh Kumar and Deepak Mishra.

Shooting has already begun on June 9th. In an Instagram Story, Sidharth shared the first shooting date by showing a close-up photo of the film’s clapboard.

The film is being shot in real forest locations in Central India to make the mythological elements look more vibrant and authentic.

The photo of the clapboard doubled the excitement of fans.

The film’s release date is set for May 15, 2026. All eyes are now on the trailer, BTS videos, and promotional events.
