During the promotions of his upcoming film ‘Param Sundari’, Sidharth Malhotra visited the famous Tirumala temple in Andhra Pradesh for the first time.

He was accompanied by his co-star Janhvi Kapoor, who is a regular visitor to the temple.

The two actors sought blessings from the Lord for their film, which is releasing on August 29.

Special date in memory of Sridevi

For Janhvi, this trip was not just a film promotion. She chose this date in honour of her late mother Sridevi’s birth anniversary.

This small detail shows how deeply Janhvi connects with her mother.

The two stars shared a cute video on Instagram, in which Sidharth began: “We are headed to Tirupati.”

Janhvi immediately corrected him lovingly: “Towards Tirumala.”

Sidharth addressed Janhvi as “meri sundari” with a smile and said that he was responsible for bringing her here.

Janhvi jokingly replied that she wanted to give them a real South Indian experience.

Following the dress code of the temple, both of them wore traditional South Indian attire. Janhvi looked stunning in a half-saree while Sidharth wore a vesti and kurta. The two received blessings while respecting all the religious customs.

The film, which is releasing on August 29, showcases a beautiful fusion of the cultures of North and South India.

Shot as a cross-cultural love story amid the picturesque scenery of Kerala, Janhvi describes her character ‘Sundari’ as “deeply personal”.

According to her, the character has a deep connection to her South Indian roots and she hopes the audience will feel connected to this emotional story.
