Sunny Deol is playing the role of Lord Hanuman in Nitish Tiwari’s upcoming film ‘Ramayana’.
According to media reports, his role in this film is only 15 minutes, but he has charged a fee of Rs 20 crore for it.
If calculated per minute, it comes to about Rs 1 crore 33 lakh per minute.
The film will be made in two parts and in the first part, his character will get 15 minutes of screen time, while in the second part his role is expected to be bigger.
Ajay’s explosive cameo in RRR
On the other hand, Ajay Devgn had a small but important cameo in S.S. Rajamouli’s blockbuster film ‘RRR’.
He also appeared in the film for about 15 minutes, but he charged a fee of Rs 35 crore for this small role.
That is, about Rs 2 crore 33 lakh per minute, which is more than Sunny Deol!
Price of star power
Although the question arises in the mind of the audience whether such a huge amount is right for such a small role or not, considering the star power and the value of his face, this decision of the filmmakers is understandable.
