When she was just a ‘silhouette’
Smriti Irani also recalled the first shot of her acting career. Interestingly, that shot was also in a Shah Rukh Khan film, directed by Aziz Mirza.
She explained, “That was my first shot, and I was just a silhouette.”
Smriti was dressed in the iconic black outfit that Manisha Koirala wore in the hit song “Raja ko Rani se pyar ho gaya” from “Akele Hum Akele Tum.”
This was the first time she faced the camera.
Silence in front of Salim Khan!
After Shah Rukh Khan, Smriti shared another memorable incident involving Salman Khan’s father, the legendary writer Salim Khan.
Smriti’s husband Zubin and Salman Khan were classmates at St. Xavier’s College.
When Zubin took Smriti to meet Salman for the first time, Salim Khan was also present.
Salim Khan immediately joked with Smriti, “Do you know what your husband used to do with my son?
They would steal my car and go for drives. They’re both useless!”
Smriti says that at that moment, both Salman and Zubin looked down in shame, and they didn’t know where to look!
