When SRK’s joke made PC cry on the sets of ‘Ra One’
Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra Jonas have a long history of working together.
They worked together in films like “Don” (2006) and “Don 2″ (2011).
PC also made special appearances in other SRK films like “Om Shanti Om,” “Billu,” and “Ra.One.”

On Priyanka’s birthday, an old interview resurfaced in which she shared a memorable anecdote from behind the sets of “Ra.One.”
The story involves a joke that made her cry!
Straight to set from the US
“I had just landed from the US,” Priyanka recalled. Her costume situation was complicated — there were no fittings.
She went straight to the set where designer Manish Malhotra checked the measurements and sent the clothes for alterations.
The Joke Begins
While waiting, PC checked in with director Anubhav Sinha and Shah Rukh. They seemed perfectly fine with her delay.
But by the time she got ready, it was three hours late.
The Joke Revealed
Despite their apologies, SRK and Anubhav insisted that she apologise to Sanjay Dutt.
“I didn’t want to go because I am scared of him,” she admitted, “but he forced me to do it.”
The Tears and the Laughter
When Sanju responded coldly to her apology, Priyanka started crying. That’s when Dutt called SRK, revealing the joke.
“Shah Rukh was hiding behind someone and watching from a distance,” she recalled with a laugh.

Despite the emotional ups and downs, PC confirmed that they finished the shoot on time.
And she made sure to clarify: “No one was offended!”
In the film “Ra.One”, SRK played the role of Shekhar, a game developer whose robot malfunctions, leading to Shekhar’s death and his virtual form, G.One, saving the world.
