The shooting for Salman Khan’s next film, ‘Battle of Galwan’, began in Ladakh in September, and a major portion of it has already been shot.

According to sources, the team has already shot the most difficult action sequences of the film.

The remaining shooting will be wrapped up by December. After this, director Apoorva Lakhia will completely focus on post-production.

Why the June 2026 Release Date?

The film’s makers have already missed the January release, but now they are targeting June 2026.

The team is seriously considering this date, although the possibility of a July or August 2026 release is also being checked.

A Tribute to the Valor of Galwan

This film is based on the deadly clash that took place in the Galwan Valley in 2020, where

Indian and Chinese soldiers fought hand-to-hand without firearms. The soldiers only used sticks and stones, which makes this incident emotionally very powerful.

Director Lakhia is going to portray this sensitive subject in a very strong way, and this film will be a special tribute to the Indian armed forces.

Amitabh Bachchan is Not in the Film!

A few days ago, a viral photo confused everyone, in which Amitabh Bachchan was seen on the film’s set. People started wondering if Big B would also be a part of this film.

But the director has clarified that this is not the case. Bachchan sahab was shooting a commercial nearby, so Lakhia just went to meet him.
