What happened to the filmmaker?
Film industry veteran Rakesh Roshan recently underwent neck angioplasty.
Hrithik Roshan’s father is currently admitted to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai, where he was brought on July 16.
“Papa is absolutely fine now”
Rakesh ji’s daughter Sunaina Roshan told Amar Ujala Digital about his health, “Yes, Papa has undergone neck angioplasty, but now he is absolutely fine. There is nothing to worry about. He is resting.”
Family support
According to reports, Hrithik Roshan is constantly visiting the hospital to meet his father.
His partner Saba Azad and sister Sunaina have also been seen with him.
Rakesh Roshan has now been shifted from the ICU to the general ward and his condition is said to be stable.
Brilliant film career
Rakesh Roshan started his career as an actor. In the 1970s and 1980s, he acted in many films like ‘Man Mandir’, ‘Khel Khel Mein’ and ‘Khandaan’.
Success as a director
Later becoming a film director, he made memorable and hit films like ‘Karan Arjun’, ‘Kaho Naa Pyar Hai’, ‘Koi Mil Gaya’, ‘Krrish’ and ‘Krrish 3’.
Handed over the command of ‘Krrish 4’ to son
Earlier this year, Rakesh Roshan announced his retirement and handed over the responsibility of directing ‘Krrish 4’ to his son Hrithik, who will make his directorial debut with this film.
Sharing an emotional post on Instagram, he wrote, “Duggu, 25 years ago I launched you as an actor, and today after 25 years, you are again launched as a director by two filmmakers Aditya Chopra and I to take forward our most ambitious film Krrish 4.
