In Bharti Singh’s podcast, Shweta revealed that Palak did not get pocket money just like that.
She told, “I had fixed a monthly budget of Rs 25,000 for Palak.
If she spent more than this, then she had to earn money by doing household chores.”
The interesting thing is that Shweta had also fixed the price of every work – Rs 1000 for cleaning the bathroom, Rs 500 for making the bed and Rs 1000 for washing utensils!
Imagine, Salman Khan’s heroine was washing utensils in the house a few years ago!
Different upbringing from star kids like Ranbir
While stars like Ranbir Kapoor easily get pocket money from their parents despite being millionaires, Palak had to sweat for it.
This difference shows how Shweta taught her daughter the tough lessons of life.

Shweta is not only strict when it comes to money. She has made many other rules in the house.
No matter how big a star Palak becomes, she has to return home by 11 pm. Apart from this, Shweta also has the numbers of all Palak’s friends.

Brought up with these values, Palak entered Bollywood with Salman Khan’s film “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan”.
