Rajkummar’s ‘Malik’ reached 14.9 crores, beating Hollywood’s big films. will it enter the 100 crore club?

Malik’s Superb weekend performance
The film’s collections saw a steady increase from the first day to the weekend.
It even surpassed the Hindi versions of Hollywood blockbusters ‘Superman’ and ‘Jurassic World’!

The film showed impressive collections in the first three days:
- Day 1: 3.75 crores
- Day 2: 5.25 crores
- Day 3: 5.25 crores
By 5:05 pm on the fourth day, the film added 65 lakhs to reach a total of 14.9 crores. However, these are initial figures and may change.
Journey of budget recovery
Made on a budget of 54 crores, the film has so far recovered about 26 percent (one-fourth) of its production cost.
To prove to be a hit, the film will have to cross the 100 crore mark – that is, Rajkummar’s real box office battle has just begun!
Ahead of competitors
In the early collections of Monday, ‘Maalik‘ has surpassed films like ‘Sitare Zameen Par’, F1, ‘Jurassic World Rebirth’ and ‘Superman’, which shows the strong hold of the film.
Star power
Apart from Rajkummar Rao, Saurabh Shukla, Saurabh Sachdeva and Manushi Chhillar are also in important roles in this film directed by Pulkit.
The director has previously directed Bhumi Pednekar’s OTT film ‘Bhakshak’.
After a great weekend performance, now it remains to be seen whether ‘Maalik’ is able to maintain its strong presence in the weekdays as well or there is a decline in earnings.
