Khushi Kapoor explains why she is more interested in dramatic and flawed roles

Three journeys so far
Khushi Kapoor made her debut after ‘Loveyapa’, ‘Nadaaniyan’ and ‘The Archies’. Even after working on three films, she does not feel satisfied.
Desire for serious roles
Khushi says that she likes roles with flaws more. She feels that working on a flawed heroine gives creative satisfaction.
She said, “I have always been drawn towards a good story and serious films are my first choice.”
Script first, stardom later
Khushi believes that the story is more important than fame in any film.
“I create chemistry only by looking at the script,” she says. ## Different directors’ methods
The shooting experiences of ‘Archies‘, ‘Loveyapa‘ and ‘Nadaaniyan‘ were very different.
There were many differences in the rehearsal methods, scene dissections and workshops of each director.
Khushi says that these experiences taught her versatility.
First fear, now confidence
When she started shooting for ‘The Archies’, Khushi was very nervous.
Now she dares to give inputs. She says, “Initially, I used to be shy, but now I feel that I can also give creative ideas.”
Desire for flawed characters
Khushi, who wants serious roles, believes that these characters allow one to dive deep into them.
“If you drink a flawed, vivacious woman, she is always remembered,” she believes.
Plans
Khushi has not yet announced her next films. But her father, Boney Kapoor, has said that a strong script is ready for her.
She just needs to find the path to that challenge.
Conclusion
Khushi Kapoor is in the process of making her mark. She is craving for more dramatic and real roles than glamour in the film world.
As she keeps learning, we will also wait for her first ‘serious’ hit.
