Karan shared a very interesting fact. He says that whenever he mentions his loneliness, people often give him the same advice—”Go abroad, you’ll find someone there.”

Karan is perplexed by this and wonders where this “there” is. He says, “I live here, my work is here, what will I find by going abroad?”

It’s really thought-provoking that we often think that changing places will change our destiny, but the reality is quite different.

The Pain of One-Sided Love

Having a broken heart in love isn’t easy for anyone, even Karan Johar. He openly admitted that he endured the pain of one-sided love and channeled it into one of his films, which was like therapy for him.

But a fear always lingers in his heart—will anyone love him for his personality or simply because he’s a successful filmmaker? This self-doubt often stops him.

It’s easy for people to say “move on” or move out, but for Karan, this isn’t possible. He says, “I have a mother, I have two children, where will I go if I leave them?”
