How did she get ‘Dhadak’

Janhvi told that she had to give a proper audition for Dhadak. She went to meet Karan Johar, whom she knew through Manish Malhotra.

Initially, she thought that it would just be a fun experience – sitting with Karan Johar, giving an audition, taking acting tips.

Then Karan asked her to meet director Shashank Khaitan. Shashank gave her scenes from films like Badrinath Ki Dulhania and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania to read.

Even after several readings, no one told her straight away that she got the film.

But slowly it was decided that she would play the lead in Dhadak with Ishaan Khattar – and from there her Bollywood journey began.

After Param Sundari, Janhvi will be seen in Sunny Sanskari’s Tulsi Kumari with Varun Dhawan.

The audience liked the pairing of the two in Bawal, so this time too fans have high expectations from their on-screen chemistry.
