Influencers cannot become actors

This question has been answered candidly by veteran actress Indira Krishnan, who will soon be seen as Mata Kaushalya in Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Ramayan’.

“Followers without talent are useless”

In an interview with Bollywood Bubbles, Indira said, “Influencers can never become actors!”

She clarified that if an influencer is already an actor or has some skill, then only they can act.

“If you have no skill, then how can you act based only on followers?” she raised the question.

Straight from the cafe to the set?

Indira took a jibe at today’s casting trend and said, “Nowadays it has also happened that a girl sitting in a cafe is seen, ‘We found her very beautiful’ and then she is made an actress!”

She believes that now people have become a little aware that beauty alone is not enough.

Film vs TV: Difference in preparation

Indira also highlighted the difference between films and TV. “In films you have a workshop, but in TV there is not so much workshop.”

According to her, this is the reason why many new actors are not able to perform well in acting and their career suffers a downfall.
