Sanjay Dutt won the battle against cancer and got confidence with the help of Rakesh Roshan.

Difficult beginning
The lockdown of 2020 came as a challenge for everyone, but Sanjay Dutt‘s battle was different.
One day, climbing the stairs, he was breathless, and even after bathing, he was unable to breathe.
When the doctor looked at the X-ray, most of the lungs were filled with water.
After removing them, the news that came was not TB but stage 4 cancer.
A series of tears
Sanjay said that when such a big truth had to be revealed, his heart became heavy.
“I could have screamed, I could have broken someone’s face,” he recalled in Ranveer Allahbadia’s podcast.
His younger sister softly told him about the cancer, and then Sanjay kept shedding tears for three to four hours.
Children, wife and his terrifying future—they flashed in front of his eyes.
A decision of courage
But Sanjay promised himself, “I will not become weak.” Only then did he focus all his attention on winning the battle.
He improved his eating habits, followed his fitness routine and even after his treatment, he cycled for hours on his bike every day.
Rakesh Roshan held his hand
The twist in the story came when Sanjay’s treatment got stuck after his US visa was rejected.
Meanwhile, cancer-survivor Rakesh Roshan assured him of his care and introduced him to a trusted doctor.
Roshan himself had recovered from throat cancer in 2018, so his advice proved to be a boon for Sanjay.
“Nothing will happen to me”
The doctor told him that Chemo would cause hair loss, vomiting and bed rest, but Sanjay smiled and said, “Nothing will happen to me.”
He kept his word: As soon as he finished Chemo, he picked up his bike, rode for an hour and then played for two to three hours on the badminton court.
Announcement of victory
After many emotional moments and hard work, Sanjay himself said that he is now cancer-free.
The beloved actor of Munna Bhai MBBS not only defeated the disease but also regained his spirit.
The journey ahead
On the work front, Baaghi 4 received tremendous love from the audience.
Now he will be seen sharing the screen with Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan and Arjun Rampal in Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar, releasing on December 5.
Sanjay Dutt’s battle proved that if there is courage, no cancer can become an obstacle.
