Exactly one year ago, the news of Govinda’s gun accident shook everyone. He accidentally shot himself in the leg while cleaning his licensed gun.

Now, his daughter Tina Ahuja has revealed the full story of that terrifying time.

Tina says she personally took him to the hospital, and Govinda had to catch a flight to Calcutta. His white jeans turned red in an instant!

Tina’s ‘Vijay Tears’

When Govinda was discharged from the hospital, Tina couldn’t stop crying.

She said, “Those were my Vijay tears. I prayed so much to God that Papa would get well.”

Govinda was first kept in the ICCU and then the ICU, but Tina spent every moment with him. She slept on the hospital floor and prayed for his recovery.

Papa is very ‘desi’!

Tina also shared a funny story. She said that Govinda dislikes hospital treatment at all. “Papa is very desi – he doesn’t like being put on drips or taking antibiotics.

All of these things irritate him a lot.” Perhaps this was why Govinda remained restless even during his recovery.

Tina said that she told her father, “This is all because of your films!” In fact, Govinda didn’t lose courage and decided to immediately go to the hospital.
