Film sets are often a place of fun and frolic, but the atmosphere on the set of Manish Malhotra’s upcoming film Gustakh Ishq turned serious when Fatima Sana Shaikh suddenly became unwell.

Vijay Verma shared a heartwarming incident in an interview. He explained that Fatima had already informed the crew and him about her epilepsy condition and explained what to do if she had a seizure.

Vijay admitted that he initially thought Fatima was just scaring him or joking, but he had no idea that this warning would soon become reality.

That terrifying moment when it really came

One night, as the shooting was about to end, Vijay suddenly heard some noises that startled him. When he ran over, he saw that Fatima was having a seizure.

Vijay says that moment was very “helpless” for him, and he couldn’t immediately understand what to do. However, the good thing was that Fatima’s instructions were in his mind.

Despite the panic, Vijay showed courage and did what was necessary.

The right decision was taken at the right time

Taking immediate action, Vijay and the team cleared a bed on the set and laid Fatima down in a safe place so that she wouldn’t get hurt.

The most important thing was to disperse the crowd and give her space.

Vijay remained by her side the entire time, supporting her by holding her head until she calmed down. They were later taken to the hotel.

Fatima explains that during a seizure, a “memory wipeout” occurs, meaning a person loses memory. Sadly, people often mistake this for drama due to a lack of awareness.
