When Diya confirmed his suspicions, Naresh was called for questioning in the presence of Honey Irani.

He confessed to the crime. The FIR lists a case under sections 318 (criminal breach of trust) and 418 (cheating) of the Indian Nyaya Sanhita.

Police are currently determining the total loss and investigating who else may be involved; Arun is currently absconding.
