You can see that the director made this film with all his heart and soul. It’s an uncorrupted film, made exactly the way he wanted it to be.”

“The first scene itself showed its power”

While praising the film’s technical merits, Emraan revealed an interesting fact. He said, “I was amazed by the first scene of the film. No director takes shots like that!

He didn’t even use an over-the-shoulder cut in the entire scene. It was a long 9-10-minute scene, which he shot in a single two-take. It took a director’s confidence to pull it off.”

Cinematographer said – “It’s audacious”

Emraan revealed that when he was shooting his film ‘OG’, cinematographer Ravi K. Chandran told him that ‘Animal’ had very few wide shots.

It was an audacious and bold approach that gave the film its unique identity.

Last year, Emraan had also confessed that he wanted to be a part of ‘Animal’.

He admitted that he understands the criticism the film received, but as a viewer, he enjoyed it.

He said, “There were some questionable aspects, but Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s unique vision and execution made the film stand out.”
