The untold story after the attack on Saif
Ronit Roy recently made shocking revelations about Kareena Kapoor Khan’s terrifying experience after Saif Ali Khan was discharged from the hospital.
The actor-turned-security professional’s revelations shed new light on the situation after the horrific January attack in which Saif suffered six stab wounds.
When Kareena’s car was “attacked”
Speaking to Hindi Rush, Ronit described the chaotic scene outside the hospital: “Saif was heading home after being discharged.
There was a huge crowd of media and onlookers. As Kareena was also heading home from the hospital, her car was mildly attacked, which scared her.”
The security expert revealed that the media pressure got so intense that Kareena’s vehicle was pushed, which left her visibly distraught.
“She immediately asked me to bring Saif home myself,” Roy said.
Security measures after the incident
Ronit’s security agency, Ace Security and Protection, was hired exclusively to protect Saif following the attempted theft in January.
The agency, which reportedly serves top actors such as Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan, took steps to ensure the couple’s safety.
“By the time we returned, security had already been put in place, with strong support from the police.
Thankfully, the situation is under control now,” Roy explained.

Barbaric attack on Saif
The incident that triggered these security measures was deeply disturbing.
On the morning of January 16, 2025, an unknown man stabbed Saif six times at his residence in Mumbai.
The actor suffered injuries to his spine, neck and hands, which required 2.5 hours of neurosurgery and plastic surgery at Lilavati Hospital.
Kareena’s ongoing trauma
In a recent conversation with Barkha Dutt, Kareena opened up about her struggle to deal with the traumatic incident.
“We still haven’t accepted it 100%, at least not me. Just fear… I was very anxious in the first few months, and it was hard to sleep and get back to normal.”
She compared the grief experience: “It’s like death, when you lose someone, you never really get over it.
The memories fade day by day, and that’s when the healing starts.”
Moving forward as a family
Despite the trauma, Kareena emphasised her resolve not to live in fear, especially for her children.
“It’s been a tough journey to find a balance between the anxiety and the fact that I’m a mother and I’m also a wife, because at the same time, my husband was stabbed.”
She even said she hopes the difficult experience can help her sons, who have lived “very protected lives”, become different men, finding meaning even in the darkest moments of their family’s suffering.
