Giving a refreshing perspective on the ever-heated nepotism debate, ARCHANA PURAN SINGH recently expressed her support for the star kids of the industry.

In a candid chat with AJAY DEVGN on his YouTube channel, the two veteran actors shared views that may surprise critics.

“They are more professional”

ARCHANA candidly explained why filmmakers often prefer industry kids: “People want to cast kids from film families because their parents, being from the film industry, have already instilled professionalism and ethics in their children.”

AJAY agreed, adding that growing up in film families teaches invaluable lessons.

Actor first, star later

DEVGN highlights a common confusion among newcomers: “Many people don’t understand whether they have come to be an actor or a star.

You can’t be a star from day one – you have to be an actor first.” He believes this misconception creates false perceptions about the industry.

“Hard work matters the most”

Despite coming from a filmy family himself, AJAY insists that success ultimately depends on dedication: “Ultimately, everything depends on your hard work.”

He believes that people from outside sometimes have misconceptions about the workings of Bollywood.

Recent star kid debuts

These comments come at a time when many industry kids are making their debut in Bollywood.

AJAY’s nephew AMAN DEVGN and RAVEENA TANDON’s daughter RASHA THADANI recently entered films with “Azaad”.

IBRAHIM ALI KHAN (SAIF and AMRITA’s son) debuted in “Nadaniyaan” and will soon be seen in “Sarzameen” with KAJOL.

Success Stories and Box Office

Among the recent launches, CHUNKY PANDEY’s nephew AHAAN PANDEY has found remarkable success with “Saiyaara” which crossed the 150 crore mark in just six days of its release.

This MOHIT SURI film, which also marks the debut of ANEET PADDA, has achieved the status of a big hit.

Son of Sardaar 2 delayed

Meanwhile, AJAY’s upcoming “Son of Sardaar 2” was initially scheduled for July 25 but has been postponed to August 1 due to the “Saiyaara” storm.

The film features a stellar cast including MRUNAL THAKUR, RAVI KISHAN and SANJAY MISHRA.
