Despite a demanding schedule, Amitabh Bachchan took the blessings of fans who had gathered outside his Mumbai bungalow Jalsa on Sunday.

In a blue leather jacket and glasses, Big B was seen standing on his traditional raised stage, the same place that fans have loved for years to see him from afar.

A folded hand namaste, a slight smile and a long wave – the small gestures had all the warmth that connects him with his fans.

Dissolving distance with fans

For those in the crowd, it is a daily celebration. Amitabh paused for a while amid the security team and spoke to people; not in front of the cameras, but across the door – in the tradition where the relationship feels personal and true.

KBC 17: Respect at work too

Right now, Big B is hosting Kaun Banega Crorepati 17. He recently praised the KBC team in his blog and called them “real heroes”.

He especially thanked the team for their dedication and commitment and wrote that the show is made because its team works day and night.

KBC 17 airs on Sony TV Monday to Friday at 9 pm and also streams on SonyLIV.

Busy on the film front

Amitabh is also involved in cinema. He is preparing for a courtroom drama called Section 84, which also stars Abhishek Banerjee and Nimrat Kaur in lead roles.

He is also preparing for the sequel of the much-awaited Kalki 2898 AD — the franchise has names like Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Kamal Haasan attached to it and production is set to begin in December.

That means Big B’s involvement is not just limited to TV; big film projects are also lined up.
