This time, Akshay Kumar took up this responsibility himself on Mumbai’s Juhu beach.
On a public holiday, early in the morning, his glimpse of picking up garbage on a carpet laid on the beach and filling it in a bag went viral on social media.
In such a situation, it was clearly visible what effect the use of star power can have in motivating the public.

Seeing Akshay cleaning with a smile like Chendu, the people around also joined him with brooms and sickles in their hands.
Local vendors refreshed everyone by distributing sugarcane juice and fruit water on the cart.

Quoted by IANS, Akshay said, “Wisdom teaches us to maintain cleanliness.
Our Prime Minister also says that cleanliness is not just the work of the government or BMC, but is the shared responsibility of the general public.”
His words instilled the feeling of being a responsible citizen in the minds of common people.

‘Seva, not donation’ in Punjab Flood Relief
The process of cleanliness did not stop here. Recently, Akshay donated Rs 5 crore for the Punjab flood victims.
He described this support as ‘seva’ and not ‘charity’: “Who am I to donate to anyone? I feel blessed when I get an opportunity to serve.”
His humble tone shows that true feelings matter more than making big gestures.

On the work front, Akshay will soon return to Jolly LLB 3. Before shooting for the third part, he has mentally refreshed himself through cleanliness and charity.
