Oberoi connection in Bollywood corridors
Akshay Oberoi, who is currently in Bollywood, revealed in an interview that there was “no real relationship” between him and his cousin Vivek Oberoi.
Akshay, who is the nephew of Subedar Suresh Oberoi, said that his name was not known in the film world and neither did the casting people know that he was Vivek’s relative.
Akshay’s truth
In a conversation with Free Press Journal, Akshay said that he never used Vivek’s name for his career.
“I feel sad that there was no real bond between us,” Akshay said.
There was no uncle or maternal uncle in the system who could launch him, so he made his own way. He shared all this “with sadness”.
Vivek denies
According to Hindustan Times, Vivek immediately clarified, “I asked him what happened? He said,‘I was misrepresented. ’
Yes, I love Akshay and feel proud of his achievements.”
His reaction makes it clear that there is no rift in the relationship; there was just a communication glitch.
Family gatherings
Vivek also said that the family always celebrates birthdays, Diwali and wedding anniversaries together.
“We have a lot of childhood memories,” he said, laughing. The warmth of these moments shows that his attachment to the family is still intact.
Trust in hard work
Both of them made their own identity. Vivek said, “I did not have any Masik Maula support system, I did the grind myself.”
Akshay also walked on the same ground and achieved every success with his hard work.
This proves that even in the film world, talent and hard work have weight, not relationships.
