The parents gave this name to him, respecting both Hindu and Christian religions – the biggest connection was given by their love for films.
Grandmother’s filmy dream
Yash Raj’s films were often played in Aloke “Chikki” Panday and Deanne Panday’s house during their childhood.
Among the grandparents, it was especially his grandmother, in front of whom it was his biggest desire to see Ahaan on-screen.
“Grandmother used to call me ‘Raj’,” Ahaan told Hollywood Reporter India.
