He was detained by authorities at Dubai International Airport on Saturday morning, sparking arrest rumours, which were quickly denied by his team.

“He has not been arrested,” his management team, S-Line Project, told The Khaleej Times.
“He was only detained by the police. Abdu gave his explanation and was released.”

Despite this dramatic incident, Abdu did not lose his momentum.
He returned straight to his schedule and attended an awards ceremony in Dubai the same day.
He also posted Instagram Stories and videos, showing fans that he was absolutely fine.
What happened?
The detention happened early in the morning (around 5 am) when Abdu arrived from Montenegro.
Although authorities did not reveal details, his team confirmed that it was linked to the theft charges.
