Expecting a turning point in Aadar Jain’s career from the Netflix show “Dining with the Kapoors”, got inspiration from Bobby Deol!

A different path in Bollywood

Raj Kapoor’s grandson and Kareena-Ranbir’s cousin Aadar Jain’s Bollywood journey has not been easy.

Aadar, who started his career as an assistant director in ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ eight years ago, made his acting debut in 2017 with ‘Kaidi Band’.

Later in 2021, he also appeared in ‘Hello Charlie’, but both the films received mixed reactions.

Big name but work…?

“People think that being from the Kapoor family, I would have got work easily, but it is not so at all,” Aadar told in an interview.

He auditioned for many projects and often faced rejection.

But he considers every failure as a lesson, not a regret. “I have no regrets. Whatever I have done, I have learned from it.”

“Work only gets you work”

Aadar believes that there is only one formula to survive in the industry – “Work only gets you work.”

Unless the audience sees his performance, it is difficult to get new roles.

“I will just keep giving my best, leaving the rest to time,” he said.

Inspiration from Bobby Deol

During his struggle, Aadar was greatly inspired by Bobby Deol’s story.

Seeing how Bobby re-established himself after a career ups and downs, Aadar got the courage to deal with his challenges.

“Bobby paaji has shown that anything is possible with patience and hard work.”

New hope from “Dining with the Kapoors”

Now Aadar has high hopes from his upcoming Netflix series “Dining with the Kapoors”.

Created by his brother Armaan Jain, the series will feature famous family members like Ranbir, Kareena, Karisma and Neetu Kapoor.

“This show can be a turning point for my career. It will make my art reach a larger audience and maybe even open up new opportunities,” Aadar hopes.

Family’s support, own path

Despite the expectations and pressure that come with the Kapoor family name, Aadar wants to make his own path.

“Yes, I love and respect my family, but I also want to make my own identity. My journey, my story.”
